“Beautiful MILL HOUSES”

Although March probably wouldn't be the preferred month to visit Santorini, our stay at MILL HOUSES suites was wonderful. The view was breathtaking and Giannis, the Manager, went out of his way to make us comfortable; meeting us at the airport, obtaining car rental at the hotel and recommending outstanding restaurants. The rooms are nicely appointed and beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean and well cared for - what a pleasure - we can't wait to return and would most definitely stay at MILL HOUSES suites on our next visit.

“Honeymoon stop #2

We stayed MILL HOUSES as the second stop on our Honeymoon. The weather was just about perfect, though a little chilly to be swimming in the non-heated pool. The staff was great! We booked through a travel agent and based on what we saw on the hotel's website. I would recommend a slip-resistant surface around the hot tub though, as it's a long fall over the side! This was my first time outside of America, and I was a bit surprised about the "non-flushables" rule throughout all of Greece. I thought that would only be in the non-tourist parts of the country, but apparently not. The people at the hotel, and everywhere else, made it a point to talk to us about American things, so we didn't feel strained for not knowing Greek. I highly recommend this hotel for a true Greek experience!

“Quiet Hotel”

Room: Our room was very nice. Upon arrival they greeted us with a complementary bottle of wine along with a fruit. We stayed in the Junior suite. After being there a while, I realized there was no television in our room. However, there is so much to do in Santorini and I was very tired by bedtime, so who has time for tv? However, we did have a cd player in our room. (If you like to have your music with you, it's a good idea to take your iPod and speakers with you.) The shower was on the bathroom wall (about waist high, like the typical European showers), with no walls around it. So, if you use it the entire bathroom floor gets wet. However, our suite also had a really nice steam shower that was enclosed, so we usually just took our showers in there. We had a great balcony area with the pool and a table.

“Perfect for a Romantic Honeymoon”

My wife and I stayed here for five nights on the third leg of our honeymoon. This a perfect hotel for a romantic getaway. It is a 10 minute walk to Fira. We stayed in room #101 which was minimally furnished but was very comfortable and very clean. The staff was very attentive and spoke good English. The pool is very small but with only 13 or so rooms and no children the Hotel is very quiet and feels very private. We would definitely stay here in the future.
