“Fantastic Honeymoon
We stayed at Mill Houses in August and it was great. The entire experience was like a dream. The views were breathtaking, the service was flawless and the experience was unforgettable. We loved our stay here and are planning to go back soon.If you are going for honeymoon there is no better place than Mill Houses. While you are there don't bother going all the way to Oia for sunset because the sunset from The Mill Houses is much better.....

“fantastic holiday”
We are a couple from the Netherlands and are both 40 years old. In June we stayed for one weeks in Mill Houses Suites. It’s perfectly located in Firostefani and has a stunning view of the caldera. The hotel is beautiful and you feel immediately at home. The staff is very friendly and professional and do anything in their power to make your stay comfortable and unforgettable. The hotel is built in Santorini style and is beautiful decorated with flowers. The room service breakfast is nice..with nice view... caldera. These wonderful views you will find everywhere in the hotel, also from the pool with comfortable loungers. We stayed in an apartment which was very spacious and well decorated and furnished. The cleaning lady did a great job keeping it clean. Also our respect goes to the man who carried our luggage from our room up to the main road, 90steps!!!!! And he still stays friendly and keeps smiling. We had an unforgettable stay here and we will definitely come back here when we are in Santorini.

“Heaven on earth”
After returning home and recovering from 24 hours of flying and sitting in airports, we had time to reflect on our Greece experience. We stayed in a wide range of hotels and MILL HOUSES suites in Firostefani Santorini was by far the best overall experience. An acquaintence suggested this after he stayed there on his honeymoon. This may be one of the best views in Thira and the room service breakfast was to die for. We had our own patio with chairs and umbrella but also used the common areas to sit and drink our wine while watching the cruise ships arriving and leaving. The room was great with a stocked refrigerator that had the most reasonable prices for drinks we have ever seen. The manager knew English very well (and I suspect many other languages) so getting info was easy. They suggested good restaurants, knew directions, had maps and could reserve tours, cars, etc. on the spot.
Location was good, a good convenience store, a cheap Gyro shop, Mylos Cafe is very nice musaka with good santorini wines and good service.
We loved this hotel so much we are in fact planning to return there same time next year in 2009. Would recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone who would like to experience the warmth and hospitality of a beautiful family and a vista so divine that you would think you had in fact gone to heaven.....

“Great hotel in santorini”
My family was fortunate enough to stay at MILL HOUSES in May 2008, while my husband and i got married at a hotel down the road. We spent alot of time with the family at MILL HOUSES, and highly recommend this hotel. It was our second time to Santorini and Firostefani is definately the place to stay. Fira town is only a short 10 min stroll away, however the path there is along the cliff face with some of the most magical scenery ever experiences, so we continually stopped for photos which would stretch the journey. The hotel has swimming pool. The rooms are immaculate, and come equipped with a stereo, which is great to listen to local tunes while sippin ouzo on your private verandah.The Breakfast is great room serice. I also highly recommend a little tavern at the top of the hotel, located right next door to the wine shop. I have forgotten the name, but it is only small so you will have to get there early. The food is magnificent-And i am greek too, so i know good greek cuisine when i come across it. Everything else on the island is mediocre, tourist type food, where as this little tavern is authentic.

“Excellent place to stay - lovely suites”
I've just enjoyed a lovely stay at Mill Houses Suites.
This hotel is perfectly situated 10 mins from Fira, perched on top of the hill with amazing views out on to the Aegean.
Our suite was excellent. It had 2 floors, a private outdoor jacuzzi, private veranda overlooking the volcano.
Our suite was cleaned every day and we found the hotel staff to be very helpful and friendly.
The pool is lovely.
Breakfast was pretty standard.
I'd definately recommend this hotel, and particularly the Mill suites. It would be a perfect hotel for a honeymoon stay. We certainly enjoyed it for our first wedding anniversary!
