"Wonderful experience”
We stayed 7 nights at Mill Houses while island hopping with my new husband on our honeymoon! Simply put – Mill Houses was incredible! The staff helped us with every travel need we had. They set us up on sunset cruises...with ferry tickets, free airport transfer, etc. The front desk even allows guests to use a laptop to get online if needed...all other hotels charge you for this!
The Mill Houses also has a sometimes overwhelming climb up the stairs but what do you expect when the hotel is on the side of a volcanic cliff? Regardless, the views, friendly staff, and location of the hotel make up for these trivial details. The hotel is within an easy walk to Fira. It is also close to Imerovigli where you can easily catch one of the overly crowded public buses to venture to other areas of the island.
The cost of the hotel is pricy especially considering the weak US dollar. However, you get what you pay for...I can't wait to go back! Next time, it will be one of their The Mill Suite with a private outdoor Jacuzzi!! You won't be disappointed staying at Mill Houses.

“Exceeded our High Expectations”
My husband and I stayed there for 5 nights and I can surely say that it was the best experience ever. We stayed in the Junior suite and the view was magnificent. The staff was great... everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was spotless. Breaskfast at the balcony looking over the caldera, volcano, and Firostefani was unforgettable....We will definetely come back and reccommend this hotel to everyone!

Better than ever imagined
We went to Santorini not knowing much about the island besides reading in magazines that it has one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. It was better than we imagined. We stayed in Santorini for four nights mid-August. We booked our room with Mill Houses and were impressed from the moment we stepped onto their property. Instantly, staff came to help us with our bags and greeted us with wine. We couldn't help but take numerous pictures of the Caldera from the balcony from our room. We went to many different parts of the island to gaze at the Caldera view, but Mill Houses view was by far the best. Although it was our honeymoon, we booked a studio. The room was small but just perfect for us. The room had everything we needed. The larger rooms looked spectacular too and very romantic. Every morning we were served a large and delicious breakfast. I felt like we were the only guests staying there because of the outstanding service. The hotel was clean. The pool was quiet and secluded. We were in perfect walking distance from Fira, where most of the markets were. I recommend staying at Mill Houses rather than in the center of Fira due to the high level of noise. Mill Houses was quiet and consequently very romantic. The manager suggested different excursions for us to do and was more than helpful booking these activities.
It was truly just a perfect honeymoon. We did not stay at Mill Houses from word of mouth, we just randomly picked this hotel. We felt very lucky to have stayed there. We hope to come back for an anniversary in a few years and stay in our same room. |

“Fantastic View And Service!!!”
We stayed at the Mill Houses Hotel for 5 nights in September 2008, and we had a great stay.
The location is perfect.The hotel is very close to Fira.
From our balcony we had an amazing view of the whole island: Imerovigli to our right, the light house of Cape Akrotiri to our left, and in the middle was the amazing view of the sea and Nea Kameni. The sunsets from our balcony were astonishing!
The swimming pool is small but nice and has a great view of the caldera (we are truly missing it now).
The whole place is quiet and peaceful.
We stayed at a Honeymoon suite with a loft. The room was well equipped and was very clean. The beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent.The service was extraordinary.
We highly recommend the Imerovigli Palace Hotel, and we wish to visit it again.

“Wonderful place,wonderful people”
We got married in Santorini in August 2008 and stayed at the Mill Houses Suites.
The reviews are all correct - this hotel is amazing.
The views are spectacular, the rooms are comfortable and immaculate, the infinity pool is amazing, the comfy sun loungers and quiet atmosphere is relaxing, the breakfast is delicious, and the service is fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for Andreas, Manos, and the other staff at Mill Houses. They made our wedding week in Santorini truly special.
We will definitely be back!
